Two Days Ashore in Egypt

Bid a temporary farewell to your cruise ship in Alexandria port and join Pyramid Tours for a private two-day tour by air-conditioned coach.

Day One takes you to the Plateau to the Great Pyramids of Giza and Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus.  You will see the Giza pyramids at sunset, perfect for the photographer in you! From there, it’s on to the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple, followed by a visit to the Step Pyramids of Zoser, the world’s oldest stone structure, dating back to 2,630 years before Christ. You’ll be treated to lunch in Cairo at a local restaurant, then a tour of city, including a visit to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Cairo’s old commercial quarter, before spending the night in a 5-star Cairo hotel.

Day Two begins with breakfast at your hotel, then you’re off for an encounter with 5,000 years of art and the treasures of Tutankhamen at the famed Egyptian Museum. Lunch is next, then it’s off to Salah el Din Citadel and Mohamed Ali Alabaeter Mosque.  A bit of time for your souvenir hunting, and then it’s off to Port Said to meet your waiting cruise ship.

Throughout, you’ll be accompanied by a knowledgeable and friendly English-speaking guide. Entrance fees, lunches and all service charges, taxes and fees are included, as are bottled water aboard your vehicle.
