Guided walking tours of London's African connections.
Black History Walks offer guided Walking Tours London to include the African history of London. BHW is compoased of athletes, IT professionals, teachers, artists, authors and filmmakers who collaborate to produce events highlighting the role of Afro-Caribbean people in British history
Their tours tell you the little-told or untold stories of Afro-Caribbean involvement with some of London’s most familiar places — St. Pauls/Bank, the Docklands, Soho, Trafalgar Square, Elephant & Castle and Notting Hill. Tours last two to 2 1/2 hours and are offered every month except December. Private walks available on request. Schools and group tours welcome.
Next time you’re in London, take a couple of hours to learn a bit of history largely neglected on both side of “the pond.”
